School Information The school currently has an enrolment of 164 students. The school works co-operatively with other schools in the town and surrounding district. There is strong community involvement and support for the school with parents encouraged to participate in all facets of the School’s program. Consultation and discussion play a key role in all decision making. Currently the School Council, which consists of 15 members, has four sub-committees covering finance, environment, grants and curriculum. Nathalia Primary School believes that each child has the right to experience a safe and secure learning environment and is totally committed to offering programs that meet the needs of all children. Special needs programs for children with difficulties and extension programs for children with special interests and abilities are provided. The school’s Mission Statement is: Nathalia Primary School is committed to providing students, staff and parents and the school community with a safe and purposeful environment where they value and enjoy learning for life in partnership with each other. The school grounds are spacious and maintained by a dedicated and committed group of school councilors and parents. The school has a shaded school and community playground for student use and implements an approved School Council Sunsmart and Compulsory Uniform Policy.
