Student Leadership

At Nathalia Primary School we encourage and support our students to build and grow as current and future leaders. All students participate in a range of public speaking and community events with the opportunity to enagage in leadership. Each year the children from across the school elect school captains and sports captains from grade 6. The school captain represent our school at events such as ANZAC and Remembrance Day, interschool sports and other community events. Each grade across the school has junior school council representatives who report to their peers about events in the school and develop ideas for fundraising and social events. Grade 4, 5 & 6 students partake in Lion's Public Speaking, Men's Shed, and Meal on Wheels services throughout the year.
